A pixel art action adventure about purpose, magic, and a world falling apart.

What is Relevance?

Relevance is a short 2D pixelated action adventure I developed solo in Unreal Engine.
Explore and fight your way through a seamlessly connected map, confronting difficult enemies while searching for meaning in a ruined land.
This project was built to explore seamless world design in an action adventure with light metroidvania elements. It is inspired by classic action platformers like Castlevania.

The movement updates definitely made the platforming go a lot smoother. Also the music sounds great!
